The Nokia 5310 is a super slim handset designed for taking your music with you when you are out and about, a perfect balance between style and music. The music player supports MP3/MP4/AAC/eAAc/WMA formats, so whatever your music is, you can listen on your Nokia 5310.
Measuring in at just 9.9mm, the classically designed Nokia 5310 has aluminium side panels, keeping the phone lightweight at just 71g but ensuring a sturdy solid feel to the phone. On the side of the phone you will find three music keys, diamond cut with music symbols, indicating the function, play/stop, fast forward or rewind. The Nokia 5310 has a 3.5mm audio output jack so you can listen to your favourite music with the headphones of your choice. There is also support for Bluetooth 2.0 so you can listen to your music wirelessly with a compatible Bluetooth headset. Importantly for a music phone the 5310 also supports flight mode, where you can turn the phone part off, but leave the music player active so you can listen to music on a plane.
The Nokia 5310 also has an FM Stereo radio built in, and has a 2.0 megapixel camera. The screen measures up to QVGA (320 x 240) supporting up to 16 million colours. Application wise the 5310 is loaded with goodies. The 5310 comes pre-installed with Yahoo Go, Opera Mini, a currency converter, world clock, has a native email client and comes with City Bloxx and Snake III games.
The 5310 is a tri band GSM handset, supporting GPRS and HSCSD data transfer formats. On board memory is 30MB and you can add extra memory with Micro SD cards. The 5310 is said to support cards up to 4GB in size. Battery standby is very good with up to 300 hours standby, over 5 hours talktime, and you can playback music continuously for up to 18 hours.
